TeamSideline review and alternative for soccer leagues
TeamSideline serves parks and recreation departments, YMCAs and youth associations that run ten or more sports on one annual plan. FLM System is a TeamSideline alternative built for one sport. In an adult or amateur soccer league, the referee records the match on a phone as it happens, the table updates itself, and you pay from $1 per team per month.
Leagues that already run on FLM System
Six-a-side, futsal, indoor and corporate leagues in Poland, the UK, the USA, Kazakhstan and the Solomon Islands run their seasons in FLM System.
FLM System vs TeamSideline
Plans, add-ons and prices for TeamSideline come from its own pricing page, FAQ and feature pages, checked in October 2026.
The referee runs the match and the table keeps up
In TeamSideline, the result arrives after the final whistle. On the Enhanced plan coaches enter scores themselves, and with the Officials add-on ($299 a year) each referee gets a post-game report email and sends the score and notes by email or through the app. The standings move once that report is in.
In FLM System the referee keeps the phone for the whole game. They start the match, confirm both squads and the goalkeepers, and record goals, assists and cards against the player who earned them. Anyone following the league site sees each event as it happens. By the time the teams shake hands, the table, the scoring race and the red card suspensions are already up to date. The referee panel opens in a phone browser, so nobody installs anything.

What a season costs on each platform
TeamSideline charges a flat annual fee per plan. Core is $599 a year for up to 100 teams, Enhanced starts at $899 and Elite at $1,499, and modules such as officials, tournaments, facilities and advanced scheduling cost $199 to $499 each on top. A parks department with 80 teams across four sports gets good value from that.
A 20-team adult soccer league sits at the other end of the scale. FLM System charges from $1 per team per month, so that league starts at $240 a year, with the referee app, cup brackets and the public league site already in the price. Teams pay their league fee online by card, the money lands in your own Stripe account, and FLM System takes no commission on it.

An assistant that does the league admin for you
Every TeamSideline administrator gets AI Playbook. It answers questions about programs, schedules and payments from the Help Center and your organization's data, and opens a support ticket when it cannot solve something.
The AI assistant in FLM System makes the changes itself. You connect your account to the assistant you already use, such as Claude or ChatGPT, and write the way you would to a co-organizer: create the winter season, add six teams, schedule a round robin on Wednesdays at 7 and 8 PM, push round five back a week. It has the same permissions you do, sees only your organization and can ask before every change. A new league and its schedule arrive unpublished, so you look them over before they go live.

Moving off TeamSideline without losing your history
What makes leaving a platform feel risky is the archive: last season's table, the squads, who scored what.
We migrate your teams, players and past results, and anything you can export as a spreadsheet comes in through the CSV import. The new season opens with that history in place, so players find their records where they expect them and nobody starts from an empty table.

Built for soccer, priced per team
A platform that covers baseball, cheerleading and lacrosse keeps its defaults general, and the soccer work lands back on you: chasing scores on Sunday night, fixing the table, answering who leads the scoring race.
FLM System does one job. Scheduling, a referee app for match day, automatic tables and statistics, and a public league site that players check between rounds. Pricing is published: from $1 per team per month, with unlimited leagues, matches and players.

What league organizers say about FLM System
When TeamSideline is the better choice
TeamSideline covers a lot of ground we leave alone on purpose. Youth programs across baseball, basketball and soccer get one registration system with volunteer background checks, birth certificate tracking, tryouts and drafts, fundraising and an online store. Its team app gives coaches and parents group chat and attendance, and its support team picks up the phone seven days a week. For a parks department with several hundred teams, one flat annual fee will usually cost less than paying per team. If that is your organization, TeamSideline is the better fit, and we would rather you knew now.
A Tuesday-night adult soccer league needs less and needs it done well: a referee who records the match on a phone, a table that is right before anyone gets home, and a bill that follows the number of teams in your league.

Frequently asked questions
Questions organizers ask when they look for a TeamSideline alternative.
How much does TeamSideline cost?
TeamSideline publishes its prices. Core is $599 a year for up to 100 teams, Enhanced starts at $899 a year and Elite at $1,499, and Enterprise is quoted. Officials ($299), Tournament ($199) and Advanced Scheduling ($499) are paid add-ons on top of the plan. There are no player fees and no long-term contracts.
What is the best TeamSideline alternative for a soccer league?
It depends on what you run. For an adult or amateur soccer league where the referee should record the match and the table should update during the game, a soccer-only system such as FLM System fits best. For a multi-sport youth organization that mostly needs registration and compliance, look at other multi-sport platforms instead, because that is the job TeamSideline was built for.
Is TeamSideline a good fit for adult soccer leagues?
It supports them: its FAQ lists adult recreational leagues next to youth programs. Most of its depth sits in youth registration, compliance and multi-sport scheduling, and soccer scoresheets start on the Enhanced plan. An adult league that cares most about live results, player stats and the public table will find more of that in a soccer-only system.
Does the referee need an app from the store?
No. The referee panel opens in a phone browser, so there is nothing to install or update before kickoff. The referee signs in, opens the game assigned to them and runs it from there. The phone needs a connection during the game, because every goal and card goes to the public site as it happens.
Can we move our league from TeamSideline?
Yes. We migrate teams, players and past results, and spreadsheet exports come in through the CSV import. Larger moves, with several seasons or several competitions at once, are quoted once we have seen what you hold.
Can teams pay their league fee online?
Yes. A team manager opens the Payments tab, sees what the team still owes and pays by card on Stripe's checkout page, in full or in installments. The money goes to your own Stripe account and FLM System takes no commission, so you only pay Stripe's processing fee. Cash and checks are recorded in the same list, and we switch online payments on for your league when you set it up.
How much does FLM System cost?
From $1 per team per month, with unlimited leagues, matches and players. A 20-team league starts at $20 a month, and the referee app, cup brackets and the league site come with it. Book a demo and we will price your league on the call.
